Back to School Gift Guide 24: Tonnin Tuna

My sister’s grandchildren Lily and Jason return to school on Wednesday along with my niece Alex and Joe’s children and my grandson Elijah. I don’t know about Alex and Joe’s children or even Elijah but Jason and Lilly will only eat certain foods.

Jason wants a plain Peanut Butter Sandwich on the days he doesn’t carry his lunch. Lily wants Turkey and Crackers. I know they must get tired of having the same foods all the time. I can’t wait to share Tonnin Tuna with the kids to see if they like it

I was thinking I would make each of them and put some in a bowl for each home to try out and my sister and I can try this Tuna out as well. I love Tuna Sandwiches and have it at least once a month because its a healthy meal for me while on my diet.

I received Yellowfin Tunawith Carrots & Peas, Premium Chunks in Vegetable Oil I remember a dish my grandmother would make with Noddle’s, Tuna and Peas we would eat as a child. I was thinking I might make the Tuna Noddle Casserole for the kids and I to try. Would you like some with us?

Before you ask there is no, way David would try this because he hates Peas thanks to some Halloween show he watched as a child when the kids head spun around and she spit out Peas. No, this isn’t a show I watched nor do I want to. Besides that I love Pea and Carrots. How about you?

Last but not lest was TONNINO YellowFin Tuna in Premium Chunks in Olive Oil with Tomatoes and Olives. For me personally I do not like Olives or Tomatoes but I did try a bite and it wasn’t bad. It’s also different from any Tuna I’ve ever seen. My sister loves both Tomatoes and Olives and she tried this on a Sandwich and she liked the taste and can’t wait to try it in a Salad.
