Today is October 1st International Day of Older Persons #DayOfOlderPersons, Once I found out about the #Holiday I let Charlie know he needed to take time today to visit all of our neighbors from the Trailer Park we used to live in because they are all older and one day they may not be here.
I also let Charlie know he should check on people in his grandmothers neighborhood as well as his Grandmother and Grandpa who now has Dementia because Charlie and his grandmother have been butting heads but one day she will not be here just like my mom.
Then I let Charlie know I was going to have David check on our friend Mr. Bill who is over 80 years old. Mr. Bills lives by himself and I think I will make dinner for him this evening. If you know a older person online or irl make sure you check on them today.
In the meantime I am off to Facebook because a lot of my friends on there are older than I am. Which is hard to believe since I will be 60 this year. Just don’t tell anyone please. Then Charlie and I are going to check on a few of our neighbors in our Apartment Complex and take them a snack. Would you like to help us?
